The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live and the Camden community has had to adapt to new ways to live, work and play.
Council recently launched our #camdenlove Bears initiative, which looks to celebrate the great people in the community who have shown their love and commitment during difficult times associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 was a year like no other.
In facing these challenges, a number of Camden residents have stepped up and shown their love for the Camden area and commitment to helping those in our community who need it most.
Do you know someone who has shown their #camdenlove for Camden and our community during COVID-19?
Nominate them to receive a limited edition #camdenlove collectable teddy bear!
Residents are encouraged to nominate someone who lives in the Camden Local Government Area who they think is worthy of this limited-edition collectable in one of the following five categories:
- Generosity Bear – for showing generosity to the Camden community;
- Inspiration Bear – for inspiring those within your local community by your actions;
- Love Bear – for showing your love of the Camden area or the Camden people;
- Bravery Bear – for showing bravery during challenging times; and
- Sustainability Bear – for showing care for the local natural environment.
Nominations for the #camdenlove Bears are still open and will be accepted while stocks last. Nominate a deserving resident and say thank you in this very special way.
