Macarthur Salvation Army
We all know Christmas is a time for joy. But for those doing it tough - it is often challenging, heart-breaking and isolating. Last Christmas, the Salvation Army provided around over 64,000 hampers as well as 26,000 gifts to individuals and families in need. As cost-of-living increases continue to impact communities across the country, your support is more important now than ever. By collecting and donating food or gifts, you can help us make sure we leave no one in need this festive season.
Macarthur Salvos are accepting donations of toys and books for children aged zero - 17 and non - perishable food items.
Donations (unwrapped) can be dropped to any of the following locations:
- Camden Library
40 John Street, Camden
- Narellan Library
Cnr Queen and Elyard Streets, Narellan
- Oran Park Library
72 Central Ave, Oran Park
- Camden Civic Centre
Cnr Mitchell and Oxley Streets, Camden
Donations will be accepted until Tuesday 13 December when they will be taken to the Macarthur Salvation Army in time for Christmas!
If you are unable to get a gift to the Giving Tree, you can also support this cause by donating online.
