Rainforest in a Jar at Mount Annan

Create your very own Rainforest in a Jar! Get up close with some of the Garden's richest rainforest plants and learn what your mini forest needs to grow and thrive! Explore the wonderful worlds of ferns, mosses and liverworsts, before creating your very own unique rainforest in a jar to take home. 

Location: The Bowden Centre, Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan

Dates: 3, 8, 10 October 

Time: 10-11:30am and 1-2:30pm

Cost: $25 per child, $23 Foundation and Friends membership

First Nations Flower Power at Mount Annan

Spark your curiosity of First Nation's culture by choosing your very own power-ups to connect and understand the language of nature! With your First Nations guide, discover the powers of Country through dance, culture and timeless practices that have sustained First Nations people for millennia. Build your very own proper pendant from natural materials as you listen and learn from Dharawal Country.
